Histories of Postwar Architecture (HPA) is a biannual open-access peer-reviewed Journal that aims to publish innovative and original papers on post-war architecture, with no geographical, methodological, historiographical or disciplinary restrictions.

HPA is a scientific journal recognized by ANVUR (Italian National Agency for Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes) for disciplinary area 10 (Antiquities, philology, literary studies, art history). Since 2018 it is rated “Classe A“ Journal for disciplinary area 08 (Civil engineering and architecture).

The ArCoD Architettura Costruzioni Design Department of the Bari Polytechnic University,
in collaboration with the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon and the Alma
Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna - HPA Lab, is organising the international conference
“On papers. Archives for project, history and prospects”. The conference, curated by Raffaella Maddaluno and Antonio Labalestra, is scheduled to take place in Bari from 10 to 11 June 2026.
